Customer Reviews
Reliable as always
I've been using Vultr for a while now, mostly for Linux VPS. This time I spun up a Managed MySQL database, and it was just as straightforward and reliable as my previous experiences. Always consistent service, which is why I keep coming back.
Good experience overall
I ordered a Cloud GPU instance with the NVIDIA A100 for a deep learning project. The ordering process was pretty simple, though I had to wait a few minutes for the instance to provision, which is normal for GPUs. Delivery was instant once provisioned. The performance has been great, really helped speed up my training times. I even contacted support with a billing question, and they got back to me within a few hours with a clear answer. The interface for managing instances is intuitive, making it easy to monitor usage and scale. Solid platform for serious work.
Fast and easy setup!
Got a High Frequency Compute instance going in minutes. It's so snappy! I'm definitely coming back for more projects. Told my dev buddies about it too.
Decent value, few hiccups
My experience with Vultr was mostly positive. I set up a couple of Cloud Compute instances and a Vultr Kubernetes Engine. The performance of the compute instances was good for the price, and the Kubernetes setup was easier than I expected. However, I did notice some minor latency issues when trying to connect to one of my instances from a specific region, which was a bit frustrating. Customer service was responsive, but it took a bit of back-and-forth to get a definitive answer on the network issue. Overall, it's a solid choice for cloud services, but they could improve their network consistency in some areas.

If I sign up today and get one of those new user credits, say $100, how long do I have to use it? I'm not ready to deploy anything serious for a couple of weeks.
how's the billing work with Vultr? is it like, pay for the whole month upfront or can you do hourly and only pay for what you use?
Wondering about Vultr vs. DigitalOcean for a small web app. Anyone used both and have a preference for basic compute instances? Looking for something reliable but also not super expensive.
Hey, thinking of trying Vultr for some side projects. I heard about a free credit thing. Is that still going on, like the $100 one?
Can you pay with crypto on Vultr? Asking for a friend who's really into that stuff.
